I love how God intersects our paths with the right people. I met a lovely woman last week and as we talked I mentioned KWIM. She then said she had something to send me - a dream and word from the Lord that she was holding onto and didn't know what to do with it as yet. So she released it to our little group and I'm sharing it here: [thanks to Merry Kammerer]

"Sometime between 4:30 and 5:00 AM I turned over in bed and heard: "They beat their plowshares into swords". I heard this statement several times and I asked the Lord what did it mean. He indicated to me that the time was upon us that those in the marketplace will find that their jobs, vocations, work of their hands will now be a place and a position of battle. This is a good thing because from their marketplace position they will have influence and the ability to wield the sword of the LORD - the WORD of GOD. The things we do in the natural, referring to our vocation, etc will now be turned into weapons in the hand of the LORD.
I got up to find this in scripture.
Joel 3:10
Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
I was amazed to find that the verses surrounding this are also indicative of the LORD bringing retribution for the evil that was perpetrated against His people. It even mentions the exploitation of children and them being sold for harlotry and wine.
Verse 3 states - And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.
Verses 5,6,7 - Because ye have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things: The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border. Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head
Upon reading those verses, I began to pray for all who have the ability within their scope of influence, within their vocations to RISE UP! TAKE COURAGE!! And to remember why they have been given the position they have. I prayed for all in the halls of congress, especially those who KNOW the truth but have been made to feel like they don't have a voice or a leg to stand on. I call the JUDGES IN THE LAND to STAND< STAND< STAND and to recognize that they to are being weighed in the scales of Justice - by the LORD Almighty. Many are being faced with the choice of what to do with what they know.
Father, give them courage that they may know that YOU are WITH them. My Lord, they do not want to be found against YOU in this day!
9 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
10 Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O Lord.
12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.
13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.
The Spirit of the Lord indicated to me that wherever YOU are positioned in the marketplace, HE calls you to "Beat your plowshare into a sword". Ready yourself unto war, Put on HIS armor. Stay Alert with all diligence and vigilance!
But...you say, "I am just an employee for so and so and I do not feel as if I can say or do anything on behalf of the LORD pertaining to this word."
And...the LORD says, "As I have spoken, so it will be. Now is the time. I will show you how. Take courage. Do not be afraid. Let the weak say I AM strong."
Our part is to Believe - Trust - Obey.
HE will bring it to pass."
